Oct 29: Loes

Yesterday a babygirl was born in our street. I didn't have a card yet, so I made a babycard from the october kit. I chose to make a vintage card this time, because the grandmother of the baby owns a little antique shop. The base of the card is a die cut tag from the kit. I didn't use designpaper, accept for the leaves. I downloaded the sweet vintage image from the internet. The roses and the gem are from my own stash, all the other things are availeble in the great october kit. I really enjoyd making the cards and the bag from the kit. I still have enough left to make some more out of it.

Here is my latest creation with supplies from our wonderful October kit.  now these are colors I don't normally work with so I did have some trouble, but am pleased with the finished product and know just who I am going to send this one too!

The pattern papers, the fabulous pin and the flower center are all available in the October Kit.  I went over the flower with sunflower Shimmerz for some sparkle !

Thursday Oct 22: Loes and Heike

I like to distress and use paint on my cards. This is a piece of craft cardstock. I used gesso to give it a used look. Then I glued some designpaper from the kit and a piece of lace from my stash. I colored the image and sprayed some glimmermist on it to make ik look a bit old. The brads and rope are from my stash, the flowers, ribbon and spacers are, of course, from the great october kit.

xoxo Loes

I make a sweet Bag for chocolate or other goodies, you find the tutorial here. The papers, Flowers, Embellishments, Fruitstamp and Ribbon are all from the wonderful october kit. I stamp the background from the bag with the Fruit clearstamps, you can combine the Kit with many each other things and i love this so much.

Tuesday, October 20: Kelly

Yay!  Here I am back with my second creation from this month's beautiful Cherry Hill kit.  Although I went with apples today, there is some super fun cherry paper too!

The fun paper, red ribbon, cute little green apple button and the die cuts are all from the October Kit.

I popped cute little Tilda up as well as the apples for some added dimension and added some stickles to the ribbon on the wooden spoon and the apples for some girly sparkle.

Be sure to check out this fabulous kit while it's till available and to learn more about the club click here.

See you next week!

Monday Oct 12th: Kelly

Hello and welcome to our first creations with this month's beautiful kit.  It is Thanksgiving Day here in Canada, so I would like to take a moment to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadians!

Here is the card I made using the October Kit.   Almost everything is solely from the October kit, however I did add some rhinestone gems from CTMH and the cs is from my stash.  I don't know the name of the fabulous image off hand (ETA-it's by Whipper Snapper) as it was part of my kit as well, but it is such a cute image!

Please click here for more information on this fabulous Monthly Card Kit Club!  See you next Monday!

Another card

For this card I used the lovely birds. I cut an oval out of another piece of paper and used foamtape to make it look like a window. I like to distress the edges, I use that technique a lot.

From the october cardkit

When I saw the yellow patterned paper for the first time I immediately got the idea to use it for a scalloped edge. I combined it with the grey dotted paper, I love that one. To give the card some color I used the fruity stamp, the ribbon, red cardstock, my sewing machine and some embellishments. On the inside I glued a strip of red patterned paper.

I really enjoyd creating my first card with this great cardkit!

Monthly Card Kit Club DT-Members

Hi everyone,

I'm so happy to introduce you to The Monthly Card Kit Club Design Team.
We have 4 talented ladies on the team and they all have their own unique style of cardmaking.
Starting October you will find lots of cards and projects created with the supplies of the kits on this blog to inspire you.

Let's meet those very talented ladies

My name is Loes Hiemstra, I'm 42 and mother of three wonderful kids. I've been crafting since I was a little girl.

I've done all sorts of things: knitting, painting and of course cardmaking. And I started to scrap a few months ago. Last year I discovered the world of blogging and now I'm addicted. I really enjoy to share my hobby with so many other people and to get inspired by all the beautiful creations found on the internet.

This is my first participation in a design team and I'm really looking forward to start designing for the Monthly Card Kit Club.

Hi, I'm Kelly, I have 2 wonderful kiddos, Kirsten (6) and Landon (almost 4) and a super husband, Lance.
I discovered scrapbooking about 10 years ago after seeing my cousin put together an album for her son's first year and was hooked. Now I find I make more cards than anything else but hope to get back to scrapbooking...maybe once the kiddos are in school full days.
I love all the great goodies out there and thanks to the blogging world the chance to see so many different styles. I am so very excited to begin designing with the Monthly Card Kit Club, they're going to be great ladies!

Hi, i'm Heike and i live in Germany and I am 40 years old. My oldest daughter is ten years and my little one is three years old. I have been stamping for many years, started in 2002.
My favourite things to create are cards and boxes in all variations, and I love to make creations with my Scorpal. I'm so happy to work with this wonderful ladies in the team :-))..

Hi, I am Desíre Fourie and reside in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been a loving wife for 24+ years to my soulmate, Conroy. I am a keen photographer {do freelance shoots on a regular basis}, avid gardener, energetic hiker {right now I would love to be outdoors blending with nature}, scrapaholic {have been teaching scrapbooking for more than 8 years}, novice jewellery designer, love mosaicing and of course a fanatic card designer. Can't wait to start designing with my fellow design team members here at the Monthly Card Kit Club and trust that we will be an inspiration to our followers.

Ladies I'm really looking forward in seeing your cards and projects!!
Have fun with your DT-kits

Thanks for stopping by,
xoxo Karin
